WELL EQUIPT | FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
We are highly focused on patient care, education and experience as we provide one hour of one-on-one sessions with a physical therapist. This model causes us to be out of network providers. We do provide a “Super Bill” after each treatment that patients can submit themselves to their insurance for reimbursement.
What should I wear to my first visit?
We like to be able to see clearly what we are assessing and evaluating. We also like to make you move! Please come in comfortable workout clothes to your sessions.
What does the initial evaluation and plan of care consist of?
The initial evaluation consists of an hour long comprehensive assessment with hands on treatment, education and exercise. At the end of the session, the therapist will advise next steps to recovery. The plan of care made at the end of each session depends entirely on the individual’s presentation.
Do I need a physician’s prescription for physical therapy?
In Georgia, physical therapists can see patients without a doctor’s referral for 8 visits or 21 days. This means we can complete an evaluation and a couple follow up visits without needing to go directly to the doctor. If the therapist’s plan of care consists of more visits, a referral from a doctor is required.
What is an HSA and FSA account, and can I use them to pay for my visits?
Yes, we accept HSA and FSA!
Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible for HSA or FSA accounts. These accounts help you save money and prepare for medical expenses that come up throughout the year. You can benefit from tax savings with HSA and FSA accounts because you can have your money put into your account by your employer or administrator “pre-tax”.
