We are finding that ice may slow the initial healing and recovery process and resting may perpetuate psychological factors promoting pain. So, what should we do instead?

Protect - Elevate - Avoid Anti-Inflammatories - Compress - Educate - Load - Optimism - Vascularize - Exercise
