How Exercise Reduces Pain Sensitivity

New year, new you. We’ve all heard it and often fall into that mindset at the start of each new year. Although diets and fads are often not the best for our body, having health and exercise goals are great for both our physical and mental self. Get after those exercise goals!! Did you know that exercise can reduce pain sensitivity by 60%?! Let’s push the pain to the side for the long haul!

Exercise recommendations for healthy adults:

🏃Moderate intensity aerobic activity for a minimum of 30 min 5 days/week.

OR vigorous intensity aerobic activity for a minimum of 20 min 3x/week.

🏋️‍♂️Resistance training 2x/week!
