Most Effective Way to Increase Your Run

Did you know that running 7 days a week is actually not the most effective way to increase your running capabilities? Our ideal running training program is 3 days a week of running and 2 days a week of cross-training. This helps focus on strengthening our muscles to limit injury and increase effectiveness.

Research shows this plan is effective for increasing mileage and speed while reducing the risk for injury. Focus on the intensity (speed) of your runs rather than the number of runs performed each week.
